History In early 2001 the Del Rio Country Club Foundation began serious review and extensive study of The First Tee in conjunction with the City of Modesto. In October of 2003 after two years of planning and community networking The First Tee of Modesto Chapter was approved by The First Tee. Since the Chapter began programming in 2004, we have achieved "ACE" level recognition, the highest level awarded to chapters that represent Network Excellence.
In Partnership with the City of Modesto and through collaborative efforts with many Stanislaus County youth services and golf organizations, the Del Rio CC Foundation offers The First Tee of Modesto program to the community primarily at Modesto’s Municipal Golf Course in early spring through the fall. |
