Laura Arellano attended The First Tee Training Program at Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy. She has written about her experince at the event, which was held June 1 - 5 at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Great Job Laura!
  Volunteer of the Session One

  The “Volunteer of the Session” was awarded to Eric Wade for the 1st session of 2010.  Eric is one of our TFTM Volunteers Mentors for our group of After School participants from Hanshaw & Mark Twain Jr High Schools. Eric is also a volunteer coach during Tuesday and Saturday clinics. He also contributes financiallly towards donations and fundraising efforts outside of programming. His dedication and commitment to improving our program is greatly appreciated.  Thank you and Congratulations Eric


 
  Volunteers Wanted
Impact the lives of our youth! There is a need for approximately 85 volunteers to ensure the success of this program. (Clinics of about 1 hour are on weekday afternoons and on Saturday mornings primarily at the Municipal course.) Each volunteer is asked to: 1) Volunteer as a coach or mentor anytime March through October. 2) Agree to a background check. 3) Attend 1 volunteer orientation/training session (see calendar).

  TFTM Kick-off Event at NAS Lemoore!
The First Tee of Modesto and NAS Lemoore -Navy Community Youth Program  have formed a partnership to deliver The First Tee TARGET Programming to dependents of military & DOD civilian families.  The Department of Defense has provided the funding for our chapter to offer these new and exciting opportunity at NO Cost to families. Our Kick-off Event is scheduled for August 20 & 21 this year. Stay posted for further details. We are about to set sail to Lemoore!
